Sheila Tilmouth has been a practising artist since studying at Hornsey College of Art and the Byam Shaw Schools in London the 1970's. Post-graduate study included a travel scholarship to Finland, when she also visited the Arctic Circle and St. Petersburg.

Sheila Tilmouth has exhibited extensively throughout England and has undertaken two residencies supported by Arts Council England. The first was on an Organic farm in Cumbria and the second at Redgrave and Lopham Fen on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border.

She worked most recently as part of the creative group involved with the Little Ouse Headwaters Project in collaboration with SCVA - you can see a newsletter here.

Sheila Tilmouth is a member of Lime Press print studios. She has taught art as a visiting lecturer and run many workshops with adult and community groups.
